If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Sad for the Chippendales. I just found the Beekmans so unpleasant most of the time.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I was definitely sad for the Chippendales!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I'll miss the Twinnies -- sad for them, too. I think this may have been the nicest Final Four/Three in the history of the series, or at least a contender.

Spotting the Coney Island clue was the hardest challenge, as is fitting for a season finale -- too bad Chippendales wandered around the longest as that maybe cost them. (Who got out of the strait-jacket the soonest, though?)

Which of the Beekmans figured out that the flags and greetings reduced down to a mathematical puzzle and proceeded methodically? That won them the leg (and game) as much as anything.

Finding out that you're being allied against by all the remaining teams might have broken them, too -- the social pressure has broken team spirits before, but the Gay Goat Farmers took it in stride and kept up their friendliness.

I'm surprised so many NYers seem to know where the first pizzeria in NYC is. But then I give all the racers a downcheck for not recognizing the UN logo.

All things considered, none of the teams had any reason to be ashamed -- it was close, all seem to have finished the final task in short order, so even if we didn't get a final foot race, they were all competitive to the end.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I can't WAIT to watch this leg - NYC and a surprise win!!

Poor Dylan though, he loves those girls so much.

Yeah, roomie and I were shocked at the lack of UN logo recognition. But impressed at the pizza knowledge.

Art Crawl!!!

In the first hour: loved the hounds and the workhorses. Both so pretty.

Yeah, I think that knowing that all three teams were working against you could have been very demoralizing. (How annoyed were you that the other teams felt that taller Beekman's ability to speak French was a "trick".)

It was taller Beekman who did the flag puzzle.

I was shocked by the Beekman's win, which is not bad for a reality show 21 seasons in. I really would've been OK with any of the final four teams winning, although I had a soft spot for the Chippendales. If they hadn't spent so much time missing the Coney Island clue, I think they'd have had a shot. All in all, a really fun season.

ETA: Not immediately getting the UN was a head/desk moment, but I thought the Beekman's did get it without having to ask someone, no? After all, they've lived for the last 20 years in NY, as they wouldn't stop telling us for the whole final hour!

My only thoughts on The Voice are that I still love Nicholas David and I'm sad he let them cut his hair. I can't see how Cassadee doesn't win it all. She's not my cup of tea, but I thought her voice sounded the best I've heard it last night.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I screamed out OMG THE BEEKMANS YOU ARE FUCKING SHITTING ME! I was just so happy the twins didn't win (sorry Dylan), I really, really disliked them. I have not forgiven the stealing of the rockers' money. YOU TOO TEX & LEX. But Team Texas wasn't nearly as offensive and awful and mean girls as the twins, so I would have been OK with them winning.

The Beekmans did get the UN clue without asking. I love an underdog, but goddamn, I wish Brent wasn't so horrid to Josh.

Aw, Chippendales. I really did hope they'd win.

Everyone should go read the the Beekman's blog post about winning TAR. Awww. Those boys are good eggs, even though they were kind of annoying on the show at times.
