I am still annoyed with that whole money stealing thing with no comeuppance by the twins and the Austin kids. So I am hoping that the Chippendales win it!

Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
I'm totally rooting for the Chippendales. They have brought pure fun throughout the season, whereas both Texas and the Twins have had at least one moment where I've thought, "Oh, hell no!" But I still like them and wouldn't be totally crushed if either team won. This is by far the most likeable final four in quite some time (if not ever).
The Voice: I am scared for Nicholas David. September, while great, is just not a song that you are really going to pull off unless you can do the Phillip Bailey falsetto on the chorus, which Nicholas cannot and wisely chose not to even try despite Train dude's terrible "advice". And while I really enjoyed his Over the Rainbow,it might have been too low key on a night when Amanda, Cassedee, Trevin and Terry all had crazy, belt it out moments. I dearly hope he stays, though. I'm still a fan.
Yeah, I think Nicolas and the little twee girl whose name escapes me are goners tonight.
Cassedee (really?) is a mystery to me, I don't really see anything special there, but others obviously do. I'm really glad Amanda let go of the diva-pop this time around. She's so much more memorable on the less expected stuff.
Cassadee is such a poor man's Avril (literally, last night) but that's what brings the tween votes, apparently. And she objectively does not have a terrible voice. She's just so unoriginal and boring in the extreme.
Melanie, I also do not get. Every single performance of hers has sounded exactly the same. And the over the top twee-ness is now such that, had I been in the audience last night, I would've had a hard time resisting the urge to jump on the stage and beat her about the two-toned head repeatedly with one of those fucking props she used during The Show. Stop it. You are 18, not 2, and this is not the good ship lollipop. My only consolation is that I'm pretty sure she's going home tonight.
Is this Cassadee Pete Wentz's Cassadee?

God willing. We could have had two more diva stylings from Cody Balew!

Yes.
I don't get her appeal at all. So boring.

Right? Cody channeling Beyonce is still one of my favorite moments of the season.
What I don't understand is people I have already heard of being on The Voice!
The Voice has had semi-famous people on it since the beginning. S1 winner Javier had already had a few minor hits on "urban" radio (which I owned and listened to often on my ipod) before he got on the show. And then there was last season's former Mouseketeer (and object of X-Tina's undying hatred) Tony Lucca. I know some folks think it gives those contestants an unfair advantage due to bringing a built in fanbase to the competition, but I kinda like it. You get at least a minimum guarantee of competence. . . like a non-Sanjaya clause.
