Also loved the Alvin Ailey routine. That was magnificent.

Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
I think Amber had the best legs on the show. Really stunning legs.
I was thinking that, too, during her routine. They somehow didn't look like a dancer's legs, but just like gorgeous, sexy gams.
I thought Amber's solo was the best, but what do I know?
I thought Amber and Brandon's number was the only good one tonight, really. But I also agreed with flea on
Amber loses points for dancing to Lana Del Rey. Faugh.
Hah. Sad, though. Should've cut Limdsay.
Watching with Kat and Bon Bon and bob bob was awesome, again! Sadly another one may not happen for a while.
Overall not an inspiring night, sadly. But I am excited for Step Up this weekend?
And did Cat say they are taking two weeks off for the Olympics?? I call BS.
I'm pretty sure the next show is 8/15. Boo
What do the dancers do with a 2-week hiatus? Do they send them all home for a couple of weeks? Do they get a LOT of practice on the next group number? It's weird.
Biggest disappointments for me so far are Cyrus, who is not growing AT ALL - none of the other pure street dancers we've seen (Chbeeb, Legacy, Hok, Dominic...) have been this completely unable to do anything. There was fudging, but not like this. And Janelle, who HAS mainstream dance training but has just not done anything very good yet.
BB: OMG, Dr. Will's face. Yikes.
Project Runway: Lantie is so deluded. I'm having a hard time understanding how she made it on the show.
