Thrive to spite them

I really hate that SYTYCD is online 8 days after it airs. I haven't been watching the auditions but I will start watching once the competition begins. I tried to catch stuff on youtube last year, but a lot of times the music was taken out by the time I could watch it.

information libertarian

I found a good Ustream last year to watch the show live, but have not had much luck this year (haven't worked hard yet), and also have not found a good under-the-radar Youtube person to follow this year. Anybody does, help a tv-less girl out.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Yay, SYTYCYD night with bon bon and bob bob. Bonus if it happens to fall on an evening when either Miss Debbie Allen or Jesse Tyler Ferguson are guests on the judges panel.

We are totally doing this!

You do live in LA now, right?!

"We have trust issues." Mylar

I do! Well, technically, it's Inglewood, but all the better for keeping me close to the street dancers.

So, I turned on the TV and am watching the Pioneer Woman show. I know that part of the schtick is that she's got this throwback husband, but is it always so sexist? For this episode, the guys and the kids are elsewhere and she's doing a "Girls Dinner", so there are undoubtedly going to be some comparison for taste, but it seemed a little much.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

is it always so sexist?

Yes.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I'm still using mjsbigblog although I think rickey.org has sytycd too. It's not everything, but it's more than nothing and it's usually pretty quick.

Because books.

Anyone going to watch The Great Escape on TNT tonight? It looks like a lot of fun.

Is that the cooking show? (I only saw it a few times, and that was a while ago.) I do remember that she did all the cooking of course, since it was her cooking show, while her husband and the cowboys were out herding cattle and such. But then after they ate lunch the men did the dishes, which I thought was a nice touch.

Art Crawl!!!

I think it's less about the men doing the big work (because her daughters do outside ranch stuff too) and more about her being somebody who just does the cooking, blogging and other writing.

So it may be sexist but it is certainly alot about the life of somebody who lives the life of a very wealthy woman.
