Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
OMG, Mark and Bopper!
I know! Oh, and I LOVED when they all hugged Mark. So cool.
All the dance groups seemed really supportive, which I always love.
Hm. I call produce interference on this leg. WAY too convenient.
Oh, I agree. I just don't care because I love them!
Totally. But that was a bitch of a challenge, mostly due to the judging.
Yeah, and honestly, he probably shouldn't have passed him on that last one, according to the standard he'd held earlier in the day. But it really was brutal, and he was sick to begin with. I like them a bunch, including what they said and did today, but I still think they're not long for the competition.
Although at this point, there's not too much competition left!
for those who like watching the shows for singers, there's going to be one called "Duets" - I caught a bit of an ad for it; I have no idea when, can't remember which network ... I'm not being very helpful here, am I?
I like that the editing freeze-framed the error for us dance-impaired viewers.
Makes the contestant who got thru in one try look VERY impressive.
Mark & Bopper set a high watermark for supportive teammating.
You know, I would have chosen the three-wheel rickshaw driving challenge in a heartbeat. I'm impressed that the one driver was so awful that she made an inadvertent wheelie.
