Punishingly Intricate

That ANTM "plus sized" girl doesn't even look plus sized for a model!

Where does it say one is plus sized?

And what's up with the girl from Boston's outfit!? So wrong. And they list her occupation as "College Graduate!"

I guess that means "unemployed?"

Yes. Although, if they've been filming all summer, they could have just started right after graduation, I guess.

I read somewhere else that it was Sarah. (fourfour?)

Most of those poor ANTM girls look busted. Which one was supposed to be plus size? It didn't seem like any of them really were.

Right now, I have a teeny bit of pre-like for the Dancer from Jersey City. She's cute. And I kinda like Ebony, although that chin is out of control.

well, if a model is a size 0, a plus size must be like a size 4 or gasp a 6!!

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Infuriates me when the "plus size" models are still smaller than the average American size (14!). Almost as much as when I see a catlogue that lists "XL" as a 12.

Nah, the past plus size girls on ANTM have all been in the 10-14 category. Toccara and Robin are the ones that always sticks out in my mind. Of course, whether or not 12-14 is really plus size is debatable, but a lot of agencies classify any model size 8 and up as plus size, so there you go. From those pictures, I didn't see any girl that looked to be more than a size 8, which is just weak if that's the case.

not to mention that some of the girls may wear a size 10 or 12 because of height or broadness of shouldner, not actual body size.

Yeah--there are definitely thin girls who are a size 10 or 12 because they're six freakin' feet tall...and maybe have some boob!

But yes, word has it Sara is the plus size girl--not sure if it's how she's posed or what, but she doesn't look much larger than the others. I'm suddenly reminded of that girl in another season who was told she EITHER needed to lose or gain weight--she wasn't big enough for plus size but not small enough for regular model!

Has anyone been watching "A Model Life", Petra Nemcova's ANTM? It's been interesting because it's so much more realistic--they're actually trying to be models, it's not as much a competition or anything.
