Excellent Top Chef tonight. I'm not at the elimination yet, but the dinner is spectacular. Fun challenge.

Because books.

That was the best they'd all performed in a while.

Also, Charlize Theron is charming!

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I love this kind of challenge, when it comes down to the nitpicky details. And, for my money, you can't have too much cheese in risotto. Or anything, really.

I felt really bad for Bev. I might need to go to Aria again soon.

Ooh, I have a work lunch on Monday. Done.

Perhaps you should watch Last Chance Kitchen. I was pulling for Nyesha, but I will love seeing the other chefs faces if and when Bev makes it back.

I was so hoping Sara would get sent home. Also I think it's funny that she felt Lyndsey should have won RW because I'm pretty sure she's the one who would have gone home had they lost. I wonder what the chefs thought when they finally saw the episode.

I figured that would be a real battle.

Also I think it's funny that she felt Lyndsey should have won RW because I'm pretty sure she's the one who would have gone home had they lost.

I think that was mostly coming from a Mean Girl place.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I was so hoping Sara would get sent home

Ugh, me too. Although I think what's so interesting about this season is how evenly matched so many of them are -- I don't like Sara, but I don't haaaaate her, and I don't feel like anyone is squeaking by at this point. And we're only half-way through! Or whatever it actually is.

Art Crawl!!!

I think it is just over halfway. We started with 16? Or they pared it down to 16, right?

I was convinced that Chris would be sent home because they had that little moment where he talked about his family.

Because books.

I don't know what it is -- I can't make myself care about this season. I used to watch it religiously, and I couldn't even tell you anyone's name this time around. I watch, but always end up doing something else (uh, usually on the interwebs), and I think last night's dinner was the first time I'd really paid attention in weeks.

On the flip side, I'm liking Runway All Stars so much more than I thought I would. I guess the lack of Tim and the usual judges is made up for by knowing the designers pretty well?

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I'm getting really kind of fond of Isaac Mizrahi. Give him two more episodes, maybe one if it's really good, and I may lose interest in Michael Kors altogether.

Plus, wasn't he completely cool and awesome to our Jesse once? Kors has never personally done anything in person for any Buffista that I know of.
