I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Kara's ended up being better than I thought it would be when I first saw the print, I'll give her that.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Oops, just spoiled myself for Last Chance Kitchen. But I'm glad to hear Nyesha is still killing it.

I really liked Micheal's dress, although I can see how Austin won. Was glad to see Anthony in the top 3, although the again started making noise about the accessories. She had THREE (gloves, bag, belt). And I thought the cat face was a little twee, but loved the pop of color the eyes had.

Is 3 too much? I loved the gloves and belt with his dress, I don't know that I would have liked it as much without them. He didn't really need the clutch, I guess, but it added to his model's look of Going to the Opera (rather than just wearing a formal gown), which I appreciated.

PR: I would have been fine with anyone in the top three winning. I actually liked Kenley's dress too, it was a nice pink and was the most ball gown looking to me. (Of course, it was also the only one, with Gordana's and Kara's, that were good colors for me). April's was hideous.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Ball gown /= opera gown in my book. But it was nicely done.

April's model looked like she stepped in something or got splashed by a bus going through a puddle. But it was still better than Sweet Pea's whateverthefuckthatwas pile of frump. I couldn't believe the judges were praising the skirt on that - it was so stiff and ungainly.

Austin's gown was a stunner. When I lose 60 lbs and win the lottery, I'ma have a dress just like that.

Kenley and Mondo were my not-in-the-top favorites. Kenley's was a little too girly-girly for something I'd wear personally, but it was beautifully made and I appreciated the use of polka dots.

Oh, I thought that was what they gave in the parameters.

Because books.

I think they simply said "a gown for the opera," with as much of a couture feel as possible.

My problem is I hear "gown" and anything with a fullish skirt looks wrong. And when I hear "opera gown," I'm immediately in Gilded Age Manhattan or something.

Is 3 too much?

No, that was my point. They complained that the accessories were too much.
