I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Sweet P's dresses have not looked like what I remember from her season.

Because books.

I loved Mondo's, but I also really loved Austin's. I'm glad he won. That was a dress I would wear in a heartbeat.

Sweet Pea did a lot of color in her season, and was always a little funkyish, but in these two episodes she seemed really off.

Maybe it's the challenges. I remember a lot of cute little day dresses, which she obviously couldn't do this week.

Austin's was really pretty. I would have had a hard time choosing a winner.

Did she beat Ty? I don't watch the Last Chance Kitchen, but I'm always happy to see her hanging in at the end of every TC episode.

Yes, she did. And she was very happy to do so. In her talking head interview she said the two people she was happiest to go up against were Heather and Ty-lor (or however that's spelled), and she beat them both.

Thrive to spite them

I liked the top three dresses. Although I was kinda hoping they'd pick Michael over Austin. But mostly because I like it when the person who is expected to win comes in second.

Because books.

I also liked Kara's gown, although I agree there wasn't much Kara in it. But she doesn't really do eveningwear, so I'm giving her a pass.

It still wasn't a totally opera/nighttime print, but it worked a hell of a lot better than Sweet Pea's.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I might have given it to Anthony, but Austin's was gorgeous too. I thought Kara's was awful, though not as bad as SweetPea's. And April's lucky. That was just not well made, and the dying was a mess.

Kara's ended up being better than I thought it would be when I first saw the print, I'll give her that.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Oops, just spoiled myself for Last Chance Kitchen. But I'm glad to hear Nyesha is still killing it.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I really liked Micheal's dress, although I can see how Austin won. Was glad to see Anthony in the top 3, although the again started making noise about the accessories. She had THREE (gloves, bag, belt). And I thought the cat face was a little twee, but loved the pop of color the eyes had.
