And Face Off, the special-effects makeup competition show is back tomorrow. I swear, I will watch any competition.
Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
What channel is that? Because I've never seen it, and it does look like something I would happily watch, especially since I seem to be over Top Chef.
It's on SyFy.
Ooh, I liked Face Off!
I stumbled across a Face Off marathon, and almost couldn't watch it because one guy was abusing the word "literally" SO MUCH that it was painful to me! But I managed to get past that, and am enjoying the first season quite a bit.
I'm finally watching the first episode of Project Runway All-Stars because the DVR finally agreed to record it. I don't understand why they chose to bring a lot of these designers back. I also find it kind of weird that Isaac Mizrahi was the host of the show they tried to replace Runway with on Bravo and now he is hosting this, but I love him so I won't complain too much.
I don't know how I feel about a Project Runway show without Tim.
Half the designers I had absolutely no recollection of, but reviewing T.Lo helped a bit -- I'm pretty happy to see as much more as they want to give us of Mondo, April, and Gordana. And Rami seems to be pushing himself past his endless draping comfort zone, which is also nice.

I like these three also, and Kenley, which I know may not be a popular opinion.
I'm kind of meh on Kenley as a person, and the thing she did in the first episode was also a bit meh, but over the course of her first season I really liked her designs; whatever she herself does or says, I'm pretty excited to see what she makes this time around now that the unconventional materials challenge is out of the way.
Kenly's voice bugged (and still bugs) me so much I can't see her clothes!
The only designer I don't really remember was Jerrell. What season was he?
