Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OMG, Top Chef! That was BRU-TAL.

Survivor: As much as I could not stand Brandon for a minute, especially after he blamed Michaela for "causing" him to be attracted to her by being tall and good looking (which he was not called on at the Reunion show as I was hoping he would be), his entire family refused to support him and come to the Reunion show? pretty sad. They needed Dr. Phil on that one.

I think that a show with Brandon vs. Russell would be too uncomfortable a train wreck to watch, though; what was Jeff thinking?!

I'm sorry Ozzydidn't win. At least he got the audience vote for the consolation prize. It would have been really hard to be on that jury. I was hoping someone would ask if they could refrain from voting for anyone. Coach blew it by sticking to his original three. It was a Colby. He stuck to his guns, and in so doing, lost. Sophie as the winner. Eh, good for her.

The setting for the show was fabulous. The underwater filming is a big part of the show's attraction for me. I read somewhere that Probst would like it to be there, or a similar setting, if they were to pick a permanent location.

It was a decent enough season. The one that Rob won was tops IMHO, followed by the one where Coach and Courtney were the first members of the jury and started a band at Ponderosa. The Ponderosa episodes were the most fun of that season, really great.

not enough watch from the hall in the world.

As much of a tool as Brandon is, god damn is that one messed up kid. He's kind of heartbreaking.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

apparently, one blogger thinks Hantz vs. Hantz will actually happen.

I think it is straight up bullshit and I will skip that season.

That is a totally awesome idea!

Even though much of what they created was a bit lame, I really do like this show, especially the fact that it is pretty drama-and diva-free.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

There's an episode of Top Model on that I haven't seen, and they put the models on treadmill catwalks. It was pretty hilarious.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I read that as "Top Gear" and tried like hell to figure out whether the cars or the presenters were on treadmills.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

bad news SYTYCD fans.

Fox has canceled the results show. I don't know what this means in the long run, but this season will have a format change.

Ugh. I guess that means we will mess some of the good guest dancing too. :-(

meara - Jan 01, 2012 1:50:45 pm PST #18615 of 23273

Yeah, I saw a tweet about that, and was very disappointed--often the group dances during results shows were some of my favorite dances!! Though I will not miss random performances by groups I've never heard of (ETA: not the guest dancers, which I usually liked, but the random pop stars)
