Holy molly, they're good. At this point, it'd be a travesty if anyone other than Pentatonix brought this baby home.
Yeah, after seeing that performance, I just know that they have to win this. The Aires are great, Afro Blue is all jazzy goodness, and Urban Method is entertaining and innovative, but Pentatonix has it all, entertainment, innovation, incredible technique, and charisma in each of its members. They mentioned last night that the Aires have never been in the bottom two, but I don't think that Pentatonix has either. And it's really hard to remember that they only have five members, since they really do fill up the stage more than groups with twice that number.
Aw, Work of Art made me sad. And I really detest mean girls.
Oh no! So, I'm watching Tough Love on VH1 (don't judge me), and this woman Avonte is talking about how she had this "spiritual marriage" to some dude who was also married to someone else, but it was OK because of his religion.... and then someone made a reference to the guy being a celebrity, so I googled, and it's Shawn Stockman! WHAT.
Oh, and also: TAR.
Is Phil really going to let them get away with those train shenanigans?
With the lost tickets? I guess it's whatever you can get away with? (Like free cab rides and such.) I do love that the camera people see all.
And assuming the snowboarders are going to come in last, they are so lucky if they don't get eliminated. But I wonder, since Phil said it was the next leg, not just "keep racing." I don't know.
Ha! Just saw Hok dancing with LMFAO on the American Music Awards.
TAR: I think the snowboarders AND grandparents were still at the competition when we left off, so it could go a lot of different ways....
Nobody gets eliminated halfway through a double leg, and I'm betting there will be another bunch-up opportunity coming up.
I'm happy because I really don't want the snowboarders to be eliminated thanks to a stupid bodybuilding task.
Double legs are murderously tiring, so they may all be staggering across the finish line before they're done. The teams left are very competent, but we will see even more drop your tickets or bike off in the wrong direction.
I agree with the onair commentary that Ernie does a good job of calming down Cindy.
Amani rocks as hard as Marcus, who rock as hard as the Grandparents. (Loved Cindy's remark that theyd die together of embarrassment as a family. )
I think my problem with the Snowboarders may be the same as the body building judges, they're holding back emotionally, I suspect due to feeling way out of their Capital-C Christian world.
