Well, that was my favorite Urban Method performance (Before He Cheats) and I don't even particularly care for country.
Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
Jesse, It also replays on Oxygen, if you get that.
Yeah, I was able to watch last week's ep on the Oxygen rerun (IIRC, it was Tuesday night at 10 eastern).
I called Delilah's getting booted after their performance, and I was sad to find out I was right about Afro Blue being in the bottom two, as well. The judges will forgive not connecting with a song, but they will not forgive bad notes and missed harmonies.
The Aires might have been a bit off this week, but their taking off their hats for Sara's critique was so darn adorable!
Next week is R&B week, so Afro Blue can work it!
The one group remaining that I cannot love is Vocal Point. Cute mormon boys, okay, but they are not interesting!
Although R&B is still not jazz -- I was glad it was acknowledged that they are always out of their genre.
Well, no, but R&B is closer to jazz than Twisted Sister or Carrie Underwood.
I feel sacrilegious at the very thought of criticizing Afro Blue, but... my only wish, other than that they'd eliminate some of the overly, overly complex arrangements (even though yes, they sound incredibly awesome while they do them) is that Christie (I think it's Christie) stop smiling that same small smile every time they're out there. It doesn't matter what the tone of the song is -- angry, sad, happy, whatever... she's got the same smile. Her expression doesn't match what she's singing.
Bunny Agility!!!!!
So, so happy to see that.
Wish I still had a bunny so I could train it in Rabbit Agility.
The bunnies were great. That looked like a much simpler task than the churning.
Am so tired of Cindy. "We have to come in first." Sure first is nice and there are prizes, but really it only matters on the last leg. Chill out. I did love that despite being U-Turned, Bill and Cathi came in second.
See, I get Cindy. I thought it was kind of a dick move to U-Turn Bill and Cathi, but I totally get where she's coming from and I like her. I think I see myself in her.
That said, I would've been happy with either of the last two teams going home.
(This is the first year I've ever watched Amazing Race, because it's now on right before Good Wife, and my roomie watches both, so I've started watching both...)
