Although R&B is still not jazz -- I was glad it was acknowledged that they are always out of their genre.

Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
Well, no, but R&B is closer to jazz than Twisted Sister or Carrie Underwood.
I feel sacrilegious at the very thought of criticizing Afro Blue, but... my only wish, other than that they'd eliminate some of the overly, overly complex arrangements (even though yes, they sound incredibly awesome while they do them) is that Christie (I think it's Christie) stop smiling that same small smile every time they're out there. It doesn't matter what the tone of the song is -- angry, sad, happy, whatever... she's got the same smile. Her expression doesn't match what she's singing.
Bunny Agility!!!!!
So, so happy to see that.
Wish I still had a bunny so I could train it in Rabbit Agility.
The bunnies were great. That looked like a much simpler task than the churning.
Am so tired of Cindy. "We have to come in first." Sure first is nice and there are prizes, but really it only matters on the last leg. Chill out. I did love that despite being U-Turned, Bill and Cathi came in second.
See, I get Cindy. I thought it was kind of a dick move to U-Turn Bill and Cathi, but I totally get where she's coming from and I like her. I think I see myself in her.
That said, I would've been happy with either of the last two teams going home.
(This is the first year I've ever watched Amazing Race, because it's now on right before Good Wife, and my roomie watches both, so I've started watching both...)
I'm so tired of Amani and Marcus. I like them, but they are terrible racers. They didn't even try to get a better flight, just slept in the airport. Arrrghh. That's just some really bad game play. Yet they keep getting saved by someone just a little bit worse than they are.
Also, Cindy needs to chill the hell on out. They likely would've beaten Bill and Cathi anyway, even without the u-turn. And btw, coming in first only matters on the last leg. And Race karma is a bitch. I'm just saying. Bill and Cathi, on the other hand? Kick all kinds of ass. Now that's how you effectively use your u-turn powers. And did you peep Cathi's abs in the preview? Great gosh almighty!
And btw, coming in first only matters on the last leg.
Unless you want a trip to Fiji. Cindi does need to chill the hell out, but I got where she was coming from on this one.
So glad to see the last of the father/son team. God, that man is a tool.
Marcus and Amani have basically killed any interest I have in how long they stay. But I enjoyed how much fun Marcus was having with the rabbits.
Also, those rabbits were some badass jumpers.
Wish I still had a bunny so I could train it in Rabbit Agility.
I was burbling and squeeing throughout that ENTIRE challenge. I was so happy that both U-Turns got used so we could see MOAR BUNNEEZ.
I was also pretty thrilled to see Zach and Zach's Asshole Dad Whose Name I Have Already Forgotten go home.
They didn't even try to get a better flight, just slept in the airport. Arrrghh.
That made me CRAZY. Dudes, unless you know for sure that you are way way ahead, not seeing other teams in the airport should be a GIANT red flag to get off your butt and do something!!
Still, I'm not gonna lie, Marcus pep-talking that rabbit went a long way towards making me love them again.
Top Chef fans: "Last Chance Kitchen" is available on the Bravo website and is also On Demand if you've got Comcast.
