Dang, I'm just catching up on Work of Art and I'm kind of loving everyone. I am also super tired and work has been a complete stressball this week so maybe my defenses are down. I don't know. They are all adorable to me right now and I don't want any one eliminated!

Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
Work of Art: I'm unreasonably charmed by Sucklord tonight.
And I have a big problem with the judges' take on what's a good interpretation and what's not. I don't think visually imitating what the kids did is good art, necessarily -- I think taking the kid's piece you were given and responding/reacting to it is valid. Especially in Tewz's case.
I sort of agree about Sucklord's, though. It's so literal, just a 3D mock-up of the child's painting, that there really isn't much response (or much of him) there at all.
No I have to really catch up on Work of Art so I don't get accidentally spoiled for it! But I'm too tired to watch tonight's. (I LOVE THE SUCKLORD, btw)
Ack, I thought I had Sing-Off taped, but it turns out I didn't. Crankypants.
Liese, Monday night's ep is up on Hulu.
Okay, Jean, thanks!
Survivor- I have not been a Brandon fan ever, but I thought he was very sweet right after the vote.
Yeah, Brandon had his moments tonight too. It's like the world turned upside-down.
I think I like the new Top Chef format. And Tom was pretty BAMFy tonight, I have to say.
Haven't caught WoA yet.
I enjoyed Top Chef: liked the challenges they are using to pare down to 16.
