"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

That's true. Although I wonder if some of it isn't just the judges getting tougher now that the field has narrowed.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

This season seems like it has flown by, mainly because every week I think "they haven't really hit their stride, I don't know, I guess I'll give it another week" and here we are at the finale. Or maybe it's just me.

No, I totally agree. Anya is the only designer from this seasoon who interests me at all, to the point where I don't care that she doesn't know jack shit about construction - those skills can be learned. She really seems to me to be the only one with ideas.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yeah, I like Victor's and Kimberly's clothes okay, but they do just seem like clothes.

giraffe mode

Jess, I agree about Anya. She's the only one this season who is really fashion forward in every sense of the word. Viktor's clothes are very commercial, and I doubt he'll have trouble selling a line, he's versatile with terrific sewing and time management skills but he doesn't have that "fashion" quality that Anya has. I'm really hoping she can win.

Because books.

Anyone watching Work of Art? I missed last week, so I don't know the artists yet.

One of them is, I assume, a performance artist, because the challenge is to illustrate/explore motion, and ... she wants to poop. In the gallery, it seems, unless I misunderstood.

Hmm, maybe I don't want to leave work.

But I remember there is an installation artist, so that might be her. I believe she did the cut-up cat (statue!) last time.

Punishingly Intricate

I am taping it but haven't had a chance to watch yet (I won't until Bob goes out of town again. He has NO tolerance for it!)

I forgot the gallery owner/judge guy is really cute. Even though his hair is kind of douchey this season.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

What killed me tonight on "Work of Art?"

The Deaf man signed "motherfucker" and they pixelated his hands!

OMG. I am so done. Too much laughing.
