"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Sean and Ben are definitely the best. Sean gives good feedback, but with an emotional resonance that really speaks to the skill of the singers. Ben is all about the solid criticism. Sarah sometimes has legitimate comments, but likes to gush. I think that you need some of that, though. she hasn't gotten to the point where it's annoying for me, but she could tip the scales if she's not careful.

But you can always tell when the judges are not thrilled with a performance. Last night was pretty rough--there were only a few songs that really stood out as solid, the rest of them had wobbly bits or just didn't make it to "good".

That's true. Although I wonder if some of it isn't just the judges getting tougher now that the field has narrowed.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

This season seems like it has flown by, mainly because every week I think "they haven't really hit their stride, I don't know, I guess I'll give it another week" and here we are at the finale. Or maybe it's just me.

No, I totally agree. Anya is the only designer from this seasoon who interests me at all, to the point where I don't care that she doesn't know jack shit about construction - those skills can be learned. She really seems to me to be the only one with ideas.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yeah, I like Victor's and Kimberly's clothes okay, but they do just seem like clothes.

Jess, I agree about Anya. She's the only one this season who is really fashion forward in every sense of the word. Viktor's clothes are very commercial, and I doubt he'll have trouble selling a line, he's versatile with terrific sewing and time management skills but he doesn't have that "fashion" quality that Anya has. I'm really hoping she can win.
