I'm not sure how old he is, but I heard him use the word 'newfangled' one time, so he's gotta be pretty far gone.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Wait, are two people going home this week?

I love Amy's optimism.

Oliver's accent is all over the fucking place. TLo commented about it ep 1 and they were sure right. Gah. He was raised in Ohio and spent years in England. WTF is with his speech patterns? I wish the show would hire a speech coach for him just to get the accent consistent.

Tim is pissed the fuck off. He has had it with every one of them.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That's true, I don't begrudge the winner's win at all.

I just watched the runway again, because it was there, and I like most of the outfits. Even Olivier's makes more sense when it's moving. But what I love is the kid's reactions.

Next week looks kind of nightmarish.

Because books.

I missed that -- what happens?

I wasn't thrilled with the top looks, either. I didn't get Laura's at all.

Yeah, I think if it only makes sense when you explain it, then it doesn't actually make sense. Not that it wasn't pretty on its own.

I was surprised that Josh(?) didn't win, only because the judges seemed so wowed by it.

Viktor is starting to win me over, although I hated his dress.

They'll be in two teams of five next week. I can't see that going well, not this season.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

There was not much to distinguish the top 3 from the safe, uh, five I guess?

This is a big problem this season. And the drama queens are not making it interesting, they are distracting!

Punishingly Intricate

I was surprised that Kimberly's or Anya's weren't in the top.

Me too. Those were my two favorites.

Because books.

There's a new show on Cooking Channel called Cooking School Confidential that looks pretty good. It's about different students in Johnson and Wales's program, and it's (refreshingly) documentary style rather than competition or melodrama.

PR: I don't think I've ever seen such an obvious blowout in a team challenge. From the concept to the execution to the video presentation, the winning team was just amazing.
