It's all about choices, Faith. The ones we make, and the ones we don't. Oh, and the consequences. Those are always fun.

Didn't look like one to me.

I feel like the choreography should just be better this week. They are all working with what they've been given, but they all have to do SO MUCH this week, sub-par choreography just shouldn't be allowed.

Because books.

I will say, the spank startled me. My inner prude emerges at the weirdest times.

I really liked that Marko/Lauren routine. Very pretty.

Vortex, that is a brilliant idea!

Marko and Lauren were very good together!

I really love Tadd's solos. I like the way he makes unusual music choices, but they work so well. Has he ever chosen a "traditional" hip hop number to dance to?

I don't think so. He likes the classics!

That was a gorgeous number, the Sasha/Melanie.

Does it look like Melanie has had ballet training? Or is that part of contemporary training? It's something about the way she extends her legs and points her feet that takes me to ballet.

I'm sure they both have ballet training - maybe not primarily, but I can't imagine any dancer of their caliber DOESN'T have ballet training. Hell, even I have ballet training and I'm certainly not making it onto this show any time soon.

I also loved that routine. It was gorgeous. One of those two had better win.

information libertarian

Yeah, in Melanie's solo she basically went en pointe barefoot at one point.

I am dubious about the prospect of stepping. We had it before and it wasn't good, IIRC (although again IIRC it involved the Wapekoneta Kid, who is not such a stepping type.)

I don't understand why they feel the need to use non-normal (for the show, I mean) styles on finale night. I feel like all the choreographers should have an arsenal of "finale routines" or something.
