Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
I just thought of a great finale bit -- Instead of the random solo, each dancer gets to pick a choreographer and the two of them choreograph a decent length routine (say three minutes) I would really like the opportunity to see what they can do when my focus isn't pulled by someone else, and by having a choreographer in the mix, the playing field is leveled.
Ooh, that would be a fabulous idea.
That was a cha-cha??
Didn't look like one to me.
I feel like the choreography should just be better this week. They are all working with what they've been given, but they all have to do SO MUCH this week, sub-par choreography just shouldn't be allowed.
I will say, the spank startled me. My inner prude emerges at the weirdest times.
I really liked that Marko/Lauren routine. Very pretty.
Vortex, that is a brilliant idea!
Marko and Lauren were very good together!
I really love Tadd's solos. I like the way he makes unusual music choices, but they work so well. Has he ever chosen a "traditional" hip hop number to dance to?
I don't think so. He likes the classics!
