I am getting so sick and tired of most of the female solos on this show for this very reason. They are tiresome. Sasha's was interesting, powerful, and showed real thinking behind it.
And showed musicality. I have been so disturbed by how few of the women's solos have shown this. The men generally have done much better with musicality except poor Alexander last night. I supposed Melanie will do a better job of this when she is up.

Anyone watching Food Network Star? I missed the first twenty minutes talking to the neighbors, and I'm confused. Someone who was already cut seems to be back?

I am a week behind, but SYTYCD - things went just as I had hoped. I have not liked Alexander in a while and I thought his solo was awful. I am so happy that this was the week before the top 10 so they would feel ok about sending off non-partners. SEE YA RYAN! My big surprise is that Jess has grown on me, damn it.
I still like Chopped occasionally, especially since you can hear people say things like, "I've never worked with testicles before."
In more I-am-ten news, on Next Design Star, they did the white box challenge this week and one girl kept saying things like, "I don't know what to do with my box" and "I want everyone to see my box and think [her name] right away."
I was tired and punchy when I watched, though.
oh that's hilarious. none of that occurred to me when I watched it, but I love that.
