I am a week behind, but SYTYCD - things went just as I had hoped. I have not liked Alexander in a while and I thought his solo was awful. I am so happy that this was the week before the top 10 so they would feel ok about sending off non-partners. SEE YA RYAN! My big surprise is that Jess has grown on me, damn it.
I still like Chopped occasionally, especially since you can hear people say things like, "I've never worked with testicles before."
In more I-am-ten news, on Next Design Star, they did the white box challenge this week and one girl kept saying things like, "I don't know what to do with my box" and "I want everyone to see my box and think [her name] right away."
I was tired and punchy when I watched, though.

YES. I forget if I told the story here, because it was about work, but several years ago, I was in a meeting with several people a generation+ older than me, and one non-native English speaker, and we were trying to name something, and people kept saying stuff like "Outside My Box," and I had to tell them NO, but I couldn't say why not, in a work meeting. Ell Oh Ell.
Master Chef - Monday I nearly wept when I saw the mess some of the cooks made of a truffle ... a $500 truffle, no less.
