Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own

Is Alexander kat's flappy pants boy?

Yes! Flippy jeans boy = Alexander and I thought he was perfectly lovely last night. I don't know why the judges were so down on him.

Liese, I loved your recap so much, I want to cover it in chalk white body paint and pretend that we are two statues becoming one. No heart hands, though, because that's just wrong.

Ryan has all the tools to be a great dancer except soul and that one is the most important one.

Melanie was by far my favorite dancer of the night last night.

Art Crawl!!!

TCM: Not a bad finale - but not a wow finale. I like Floyd but kind of wanted one of the women to win, just because.

Meanwhile, remember the Keno Twins from Antiques Road Show? They are casting for their own new show Buried Treasure.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

During season one, producers “had a hard time getting any chefs of note,” he said.

Hubert Keller, Rick Bayless, and Michael Chiorello are not chefs of note? If anything I thought they started on a super high note and have gone down hill. Season 2 was good, too, though, just less household names but very much talented and accomplished chefs.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

SYTYCD - I really like Melanie ... but part of that is she reminds me a little of our meara - small, short dark hair. But she can dance (meara can too - she just hasn't done so on national TV).

Ryan irritates me - I'm not sure if it's the big smiley face or what. And I liked the dance she was in the least of all the ones last night. Actually, the one she was in was the only one I didn't like.

I liked all of the chefs. I mean, if I had to pick a least favorite, it was Michelle, but that's just because she seemed kind of cold. I really liked Mary Sue, and wanted her to win because she seemed so nice.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

ND, I think he meant that they eventually got chefs of note, but it wasn't easy for them to do so.

Bwah! Right backatcha, sister! But you know, without heart hands.

More audition episodes are fine; longer battle rounds, which really sucked the life out of the show for a bit, are not.

So very much this. It was so annoying to watch battle rounds with people we hadn't really seen before.

Re: Top Chef. I was hoping for Mary Sue, because she seems really nice, but mostly because I don't want to have problems getting a Jardinière reservation for the opera when they open up in about a month. But I'm happy for Floyd since Tabla was the only restaurant I had been to of this set of chefs.

Is it terrible that I want to get rid of Clarice just for that thing on her hip?
