But? There's always a but. When this is over, can we have a big 'but' moratorium?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Heh. I can see wanting her to move forward, but I think performance wise, I wouldn't have chosen her.

I realize that I didn’t even remember who was on Blake’s team. That’s got to be bad. And America makes the only choice it can and saves Dia. I kind of cannot believe Blake saved Xenia. I mean, I actually agree with the pick because she does have an awesome voice, but she’s so awkward and uncomfortable on stage. I just can’t see her ever garnering enough audience votes to ever advance on her own. We'll see.

From tonight, it should be Vicci and Nikia from Cee-Lo’s team. From Adam’s team, I’d go with Javier, obviously, and Casey, but I don’t think that’s the way it will go down.

Because books.

I loved Nikia. He's adorable and the growly voice works for me. I thought that was a good song for him, too, but I like Kings of Leon.

Jolene was great, but I can't remember who sang it -- I was only listening, not watching.

Agreed.

Xenia's performance definitely wasn't great, but I found Blake's reasoning interesting.

EW lists the top 25 dances on SYTYCD. The fact that the Fug Princess is represented on this list in any way, shape, form or fashion automatically calls into question the author's judgement. Interesting, nonetheless. And the Dead Daddy Dance, Mia's door routine and Tasty's cancer dance all did not make the list. That's something.

'Til we dance away...

I can't believe there is a disco on that list. But I'm very happy to see the Alex hip hop at number 1.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

OK, I admit I've never heard this song before, but "your sex is on fire"? Sounds like something out of the Smart Bitches reviewing a romance novel and saying "THE STD BURRRRNS".

you got it, that is exactly what the song is about.

Here is the original: [link]

Here is one of my favorite performances of the song on the British X-Factor about 2-3 years ago (starts at 2 min in):

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Not sure how non-fictional this is, but I've spotted some ads for a show that looks like it's imitating TAR; one of the quotes makes me laugh.

The scene - somewhere in a vast desert, several women are slogging through the sand. One says (in what sounds like a NJ accent), "We're in the Sahara. It's all sand, yo!"

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

That's the new one by Mark Burnett, but I can't remember the name.
