Now I'm terrified that "burlesque" will be a "style" in the hat.

OMG, I hadn't thought of that. I'm just watching now.

SYTYCD Top 20! I'm so glad they're not doing the "make people wait with their families to get the good/bad news" like they did last year!

RickyJamie: seems cute and good (and gay). I want to call him RickyBobby.

Miranda: Why did we not get any backstory on her? I have no idea who she is.

Melanie: OK, we've seen her before so I get why we get no backstory there. I feel like I should like her more than I do.

Abigail: Another one we've never seen. At least they seem to be breaking it to people straightforwardly.

Really?? They're making the sisters do it together? Puhleaze. Not shocked they picked Sasha. Especially if Natalia has newly diagnosed diabetes that would be tough, trying to get it right while dancing more than you ever have. (I love Sasha's hair, btw)

Oh, interesting, now a number? Huh. Don't tell me these are all the contemporary dancers. All that smoke looks awesome, but would make me ill! I really like some parts of this routine. Yay Stacey.

Chris: I don't remember him at all last year OR this year! This is why I want to see more Vegas! Oh, Mary, I hate when they lead people on. Just say it.

Wadi and Tad: OK, I guess we'd had some background on them (I love Wadi's outfit in the judging!)

Lil'O: I like him! BOO. I know it'd be hard to partner with him, but dang, his broadway was killer (he's obviously had other training)

ACK MY TIVO IS PIXELLATING! NOOO!

Robert: Oh, HE'S the guy who's been "Woo"ing all Vegas. Hm. I'd rather hear "indubitably". Wait, how old is he? Sad about the Professor though.

ARGH. Hard to watch when it's half pixellated! WTF, TIVO? I can't really say anything about this performance.

Only two ballroom dancers? See, I knew it was short on ballroom! Lenny just looks kind of skeevy--what's up with that and the ballroom boys? So wow, no male ballroom guys this year? Crazy! How old is Iveta? Because she just LOOKS so old, but I know she can't be as old as she looks! (Hmm, this is the last time, I guess she's 29 or 30? How does that make Robert old??) I hate the stupid "I'm going to cut you BUT NOT REALLY!!" bullshit.

Thank god they didn't make her dance alone! I was worried for a second! Sigh. I want to like the ballroom. It's not doing it for me though.

Clarice and Bridget: Two more we don't know. WTF, show? Who edited the previous clips?? Oh, Clarice, you are so hair-flippy.

Marko: was he around last year? Or did they tell us about the bullet earlier in auditions? I swear I've seen that info before.

Jordan and Missy: Naughty. But she looks kinda like my cousin, so I give a side-eye to it. I am impressed that she's only 18. Wow, Missy has very white teeth.

Another 3 girls/one guy routine! Silly show--cast some girl hiphoppers and you won't have this problem! I cannot approve of his pants in this routine. Or the codpiece, or whatever that is. I didn't actually love this one, not sure why. (Whoah, Sonya looks so weird with blonde hair!)

Nick and Jess: What's with all the people we've never seen before! Who is this tapper? I guess Jess is a wee little man--they couldn't have him AND Lil'O? HAHAH! He slid between his legs! Putting the wee-ness to use. I don't think I understood the story that was trying to tell? But it was fun. OOh, tapping girls? Interesting!

Kaitlin: OMG, she's been telling people since she was little?!? Dear lord.

oooh, switching it up with two guys and three girls! Peanut! But lordy, dancing on those leaves is just asking for a slip and fall.

Have to go to a doctor's appointment now, can't wait to see the rest of the show!

Marko: was he around last year? Or did they tell us about the bullet earlier in auditions?

Yeah, they went into that when he had his initial audition.

Because books.

Is Antin going to be on all the time? Because her face scares me.

"Oh no! Has falling sky liquid once again caused you the sadness?" -Starfire

The only person that really irritates me is that Woo guy. And it makes me so sad that he was chosen over the Professor.

That LXD choreographed dance was awesome! I really enjoyed the girls' dance too!

I'm very excited about this season!

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

The wee broadway dude bugs me. I am horrid at remembering names.

Where can I find videos of the show on the web? I'm dying here!

I think it's rickey.org, but I could be wrong.

Jess is the wee broadway dude. He's got mad skills, but tons of attitude to go with it. However, I can buy him as a semi-adult, as opposed to last season's Kent, who was sweet and also had mad skills, but was a kid and could not portray anything different.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I know that Jess was called down for "arrogance". The woo guy is annoying (the "woo" - his dancing is fine). At one point I thought he was trying to imitate a theramin.
