Yeah, I can't get on board with Hugh. I was amused that he made fun of the unibrow, but he still irritates me every episode.

Non-Fiction TV: I Reject Your Reality and Substitute My Own
This thread is for non-fiction TV, including but not limited to reality television (So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef: Masters, Project Runway), documentaries (The History Channel, The Discovery Channel), and sundry (Expedition Africa, Mythbusters), et al. [NAFDA]
Yeah, the cooking down thing came on after I'd proclaimed my love for him, and it definitely knocked him down a couple pegs.
But I agreed totally with his dickish "throwing up in my mouth" stuff, because I am also a dick and I felt EXACTLY the same way about the whole thing.
Oh, I haven't seen last night yet.
I still love him though, because I thought that dude was LAAAAME. And now that I think of it, I'm not sure how Hugh's comments are worse than Mary Sue's comment that the kids were not ready to marry because they haven't had shellfish yet. Both comments were pretty supercilious, but Hugh's wasn't as funny and it was much more blunt.
Floyd isn't gone!
Sorry, I thought Floyd was the one who got sent home last week, he I also liked. Yeah, Floyd is OK too, but Hugh makes me laugh more.
Did Mary Sue really marry Susan's ex-husband??
Can someone explain to me Blake's choice?
My guess is a couple of factors. One, she looked like a goddamn lunatic and two she had no audience appeal -- too old and see number one. She was a better singer but Diya (?) was fine and moldable.
I thought she had a good voice, but was completely over the top, even after he had warned her to tone it down. Much as it's a competition, it's not good form to completely upstage the other person. Especially when you seem a bit loony doing it.
