Disco! YAY!

except, not so much ... the death drop wasn't very smooth.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Danny and Lauren have a disturbingly good chemistry.

I thought that wasn't that great. A lot of hesitations, and late beats. I saw many flaws, and not just because I hate Lauren

There were a lot of flaws. Lauren had to push herself up (in an obvious manner) from the death drop, then the move that Mary just praised was very jerky and didn't have flow, they had to stop to set up for it.

As with most Doriana routines, I did not like it. I was, dare I say it, bored. The tricks were kind of stiff looking. I did enjoy that there was more actual choreography. Agreeing with Nigel again. Something ain't right.

Well, Lacey's solo was better than last week, but it had to be, didn't it? By far the weakest of the night.

The judges seem to be liking the disco, but there were a couple of lifts in there that I felt were on the verge of falling apart totally. Or it's just that I found the transitions into them very clunky or something. But, that's the choreographer's fault, not the dancer's.

Neil needs some over done eye make up and he'll look a refugee from an 80s band.

That last move was cool! And so was him dragging her! totally in character of the cape.

God this is so much better than that stupid Pose doble earlier.

Nigel! You didn't think Sabra could win this until now? Are you freaking blind!

I am sitting here slightly underwhelmed tonight. Except for the negotiation routine, I feel like I'm not really seeing anything new. Some of the dancing has been great, but I'm wishing for a real surprise.

I was disappointed that after the Mia Michaels contemporary, all the praise was for Lauren and not much of anything for Danny.

I thought the smooth waltz was pretty, but Lacey's butt was sticking out -- and I think it was her posture, not anatomy.

I'm a little out of sync here, because I'm watching on TiVo.

Personally, I did not find that Paso Doble at all hot. Neil just leaves me cold. Sabra was a hot little thing, but when you're working with a wet blanket. Well...

That was bad. Capital "B" bad. How many beats after the music did it actually end? And the hunchback was back with a vengance. Nigel is smoking the monkey crack again. And Sabra had a little bobble at the front there. Chuy and Sara did it ten times better.

I will give Neil a tiny point for the leather pants. I normally don't find him attractive, but dayum!

Debbie Allen, I love you. But you are useless as a judge.

Danny's solo: I just have no more words for how incredible he is. That's how it's done. Beautiful, beautiful dancer. Miles ahead of the others.
