What was with the smirk-y smirk Lauren had through that whole dance? I don't buy Wade's crap story, but I don't think it's about happy fun times. Ugh. Her technique was ok, I guess, but she just annoys to no end and she never really gets what the dance is about.
Also, Danny is ridiculously hot. Can't be said enough.
I'm voting for my favorites no matter what. I was getting really bored with the solos until Sabra. There is something about this little girl that is bigger than anyone else.
Someone please introduce Neil to the concept of musicality. Good grief. So far, I've liked Jamie and then Dom the best. Sabra was a little frantic for me, but good. Still liking the multiple takes on the solo.
I couldn't be more bored by this solo routine at this point.
Oh, also askye, Brian Joubert. He also did a long program to the music from the Matrix. I'm not a fan.
Uh-oh. I'm scared for Dom and Jamie.
Wow! Now, that was a hell of a dance. Not necessarily a waltz, but, wow!
So that was . . . not good. Oh my.
I hate this, it's a freaking mess compared to what Viennese Waltz normally is.
Thanks kat!
Another case where I see the dancer being castigated for the crappy choreography. And the coaching. Seriously, if it was overblown then the choreographer should have been addressing that during practice. Honestly, with the Spanish theme imposed over the rest it would have been hard to
not
make it look like a charicature. Maybe I'm just overly defensive because I really like Dominic.
Going back, I loved Danny's allusion to Lacy being a little too "Girls gone wild". He is so right.
I think Kameran of Cameran or whatever blew the solo. He just left out part of the choreograph. I think he's going home, or should.
And speaking of figure skating, that tune for the waltz was skated to by Katarina Witt.
