Thrive to spite them

I hate this, it's a freaking mess compared to what Viennese Waltz normally is.

Thanks kat!

Another case where I see the dancer being castigated for the crappy choreography. And the coaching. Seriously, if it was overblown then the choreographer should have been addressing that during practice. Honestly, with the Spanish theme imposed over the rest it would have been hard to not make it look like a charicature. Maybe I'm just overly defensive because I really like Dominic.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Going back, I loved Danny's allusion to Lacy being a little too "Girls gone wild". He is so right.

I think Kameran of Cameran or whatever blew the solo. He just left out part of the choreograph. I think he's going home, or should.

And speaking of figure skating, that tune for the waltz was skated to by Katarina Witt.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

Danny really didn't want to scream.

I really like Dom, too, but tonight the technique was just not there. That jete off of the stairs was just painful. Even if he'd dialed the character work waaaaay back, it still would've been distinctly not good.

In other news, Danny is the man (despite that lame ass scream). That was beautiful. I definitely liked Jamie, Danny and Dom the best on the solos, with Sabra, Lacey, and Sara in my solid middle group and Pasha (lack of training in this style of dance totally exposed here), Neil (this is not a floor routine), and Lauren (god, the mugging! make it stop) firmly in the bottom. And one that I've entirely forgotten already which is very much not of the good.

ETA: Kameron. Totally forgot him.

Also Add: Doriana disco. Noooooooo!

Doesn't matter to me if he screamed or not. I just want to watch him dance that over and over. He's the only one to really make me like it.

Hot crap on toast. That choreo was sooo bad, and they really did the best they could with it. It was all trick, trick, trick, trick. But I guess that's great for Neil.

I love, LOVE the Hustle! It was cool because I've done some of the moves (in the middle) but that showed the reason why I love it -- it puts a smile on your face and it's jut fun.

Yeah, the tricks are impressive. My daughter liked that dance best because Neil totally rocked that backflip. Bleh.
