Jesse, I totally made the same mistake recently. I bought shoes that were a size up because I thought they fit better. Then realized that a lifetime of shoe-buying should not have been disregarded so easily!

That's usually because your feet swell, not because of the shoe.
But my feet don't swell out of any of my other shoes, so these are dead in the water without major surgery.
