We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Oh well, another little bit of childhood innocence gone the way of the dodo.

And my pervy mind read this as "gone the way of the dildo."

I think it's time for lunch--maybe I'll get a banana...

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Bah! I knew it was a mistake going down a size. Although the several pairs of shoes I've bought too big are equally unwearable, so whatever.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

They've gotten to the point where I can put them on and feel fine, but I slip out of them at work and back in for lunch and they're too tight.

That's usually because your feet swell, not because of the shoe.

signed,

learned quickly not to take off her stripper heels no matter how badly her feet hurt, lest she have to go barefoot.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

That's usually because your feet swell, not because of the shoe.

Yeah. Which is why you should buy new shoes around noon, right?

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Jesse, I totally made the same mistake recently. I bought shoes that were a size up because I thought they fit better. Then realized that a lifetime of shoe-buying should not have been disregarded so easily!

Gah. I just found out I left my ATM card in the machine AGAIN. I did it on Sunday, and didn't realize it until today.

Fortunately, this time, it was a branch of my own bank. The ATM ate the card, and I got it back.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That's usually because your feet swell, not because of the shoe.

But my feet don't swell out of any of my other shoes, so these are dead in the water without major surgery.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I guess I should be more optimistic, because I have had bad first days with shoes before that turned out fine. Fingers crossed! (I would cross my toes, but I can't move them right now.)
