So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Ginger, I think you're right.

"Mom, where's the archive of my baby blog? What do you mean I didn't have a baby blog? All my friends had baby blogs!"

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Besides, the Buffista kidlets will all be talking about their weird parents to their friends online, too. It's genetic. Or environmental.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I know I've read this article about what happens when good online communities go bad. In fact, I bet I followed a link from here.

It's really nothing new, except this line

Many's the time I've found myself neglecting a warm bed, a hot meal, or a chance to go out for a cup of coffee with a friend in order to answer some mean-spirited note from some 16-year-old mouth-breather who achieves transcendence only through pointless debate with strangers.

totally cracked me up in a too-close-to-home way since I can't. let. things. go. when I should.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I know I've read this article about what happens when good online communities go bad. In fact, I bet I followed a link from here.

You know it's funny, but what we have in place seems fairly effective to fend off trolls. But it requires a community buy-in that wouldn't work everywhere.

I'm partial to Noah in the boppy.

Me, too. Like a little throne.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Was Doctorow the one that wrote the article about how online communities evolve? That came up this weekend and I would love to re-read.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Kat that photo of you and Noah is so beautiful. I love it.

And I'm sorry that Grace's situation has gotten so hard. It's so unfair.

"Mom, where's the archive of my baby blog? What do you mean I didn't have a baby blog? All my friends had baby blogs!"

That'll be my kids. And what will I say to them? "Mommy loves you, she's just very lazy. And, well, you were both very very busy!"

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I'm still wanting to rip the spine out of the crazyperson who claimed she once confronted me about what a big fat liar I am and I backed down. Because I was afeared of her, or something.

ahhh ha ha ha.
