So... any ideas as to why my HP book from Amazon, though it was delivered by UPS, was hangin' out in my USPS mailbox?
Are the forces of evil aligning or something?
Ah well, whatever, at least I don't have to collectively cut Amazonian bitches tomorrow.
Ailleann, that was discussed... somewhere. Apparently, several shipping companies contract with USPS for the end part of a delivery. I'd Nilly it for you, but it's time to go back to my book!
You're never supposed to pop blisters, but I always puncture them from the side with a sterilized needle. They don't hurt as much afterwards. I'm not a patient person.

Want!
Mmmm, hungry now.
I have
veggie burgers and bacon
that I could eat...
This picture hints at what EM describes as Matilda's Ironical Eyebrows.
Hmmm, I wonder what grammatical rule is in play about leaving the punctuation outside the hot link.
Matilda is huge!
She's like...fifteen pounds. Bigger than the biggest newborn you ever saw. Finally.
Sat at a cafe and had a beer and read Oxford American.
I am so happy with the photo they used with my piece. Which is something I banged out in all of three hours, and probably doesn't look all that different from what I post here. Except they pay me for it.
Has she started to toddle yet?
She cruises a lot. Her crawling technique is as idiosyncratic as Emmett's was. She crawls on one leg and scoots on the other. This doesn't work well on carpet (butt scooting and friction don't go together), but on the polished wood floor of the hallway she can take off and feels very gleeful.
I think the pics with the parents in them are my favorite. Mainly because of the utter glee ( This is OURS!!!! ) that comes through on the parental faces.
JZ is just a wee bit in love with her daughter. I mock her for his, making Holly Hunter CryFace and sobbing, "I just LOVE her so much!"

It just makes sense. To me. Um, is that enough?
Hey!
With Swiss!
Do ya pop toe blisters or will they reabsorb pretty fast?
I was always told that if you think it will break on its own you're better off breaking it. (I tend to err on the side of "sure! this could break! 'cuz I'm impatient like ginger.)
Alcohol on the foot, alcohol on the needle, drain it with gauze, slather on bacitracin, bandage... I've never had one get infected.
Oh! And I like to do them at bedtime so they have eight hours to heal up a little before I walk on them.
And, either way, moleskin is really your friend. Your best friend in the entire world.
I hate blisters.
