This is why I practically never even order in lunch -- I would zap out if it took more than like 25 minutes to get there.
NYC is so different from anywhere I have EVER lived.
ita, thank you for the shopping links, damnit. Now I want new clothes. And jewelry. Which I shouldn't get, because I just dropped $200 at Title 9 (Diana pants in black!), and I'm going to the Nordie's sale tomorrow. Need nice tops. And more hose.
I discovered to my chagrin that thigh-high hose, if worn with a tulip skirt, must be placed very carefully, or you get Bulge. Ew.

Glad my midlife crisis/migraine combo is helping you out...or at least helping your wallet shed weight.
Maybe I'll dress pretty for work tomorrow. That might help the headspace.
I just read that Teri Garr has MS and is in a wheelchair. I had no idea.
I knew she had MS, and that she only took roles where she could hide her limited mobility, but she wasn't in a wheelchair the last time I saw her interviewed. (About a year ago.)
hi Susan , how's the baby that isn't a baby anymore.
mmmm...food. I think some should just appear.

I completely agree, Frances.
OK, delivery place is giving me the runaround, but I just got a call from some dude-- he is standing in front of his apartment trying to give the delivery guy directions to my office (my phone number is on the order). That is why I live in NYC.
umm someone took over Burrell..
That is awesome, bon. Excpet for the part where you're starving and probably pretty cranky by now.
Windows is making my PC invisible to my Mac and my TiVo. I am unhappy about this turn of events, but can't work out what could have caused it...perhaps one of the Windows updates? I haven't changed the networking config in forever.
Pisser.
Why can't we all just get along?
