Lorne: Back in Pylea they used to call me "sweet potato." Connor: Really. Lorne: Yeah, well, the exact translation was "fragrant tuber" but…

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

But some nights we go from laughing hugging mac to yelling mac 5-6 times from 6pm to 9pm.

Poor youse. It's hard on him, I'm sure, to process all the ways in which you've changed his life, nevermind all the ways in which he's changing yours (that part won't register for another, what?, 15 to 20 years or so). Yeah, he's acting out a bit, boundary testing--so what? He'll work it through eventually.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Yikes, Sarameg.

ita, I'm supposed to tell you that G. is not evil, or maybe that he is but you should take him up on it anyway. Something with the word evil anyway.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

He only tortured Turks; his own people apparently loved him.

I've read that during his reigns (3 separate ones of 8 years total), he killed off approximately 10% of the population of his own country. A laundry list of his atrocities can be found here: [link]

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Lee, there are a set number of ways in which we can have G and evil in the same sentence, and I'm afraid he may not like most of them.

I on the other hand...well, they're my sentences. I totally win.

Grr. My shoulder hurts. I had more time today without migraines than usual, even though it'd probably average out like other days.

I want a higher bar.

Swouncing

Skipping to post that, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is SA's birthday.

Happy birthday, SA! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!

I DO NOT WANT IT. IT IS NOT GOOD. IT DOES NOTHING.

Clearly someone needs to make a lolmac.

Happy birthday SA!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

In a way it's good that mac is acting out, it shows that he's feeling at least safe enough with msbelle to say what he feels. Still, not all that much fun for the parental unit at the moment.

I woke up too damn early, but I slept like an extra 4-5 hours during the day yesterday, so hopefully I won't be dragging today. I have my first 'networking event' at which I go dressed up with business cards in hand. Not sure that it will do much good, but I'm willing to give it a try!

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Still, not all that much fun for the parental unit at the moment.

This. {{msbelle}}

Have fun! (Things like that are one of the reasons I wanted out of the corporate world. Couldn't stand them.)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Good luck, Theo!

Happy birthday, SA!

I'm taking a semi mental health day. I don't feel great, but if there were anything pressing at work, I could have gone in for sure.
