Willow: Yes. Hi. You must be Angel's handsome, yet androgynous, son. Connor: It's Connor. Willow: And the sneer's genetic. Who knew?

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Still, not all that much fun for the parental unit at the moment.

This. {{msbelle}}

I have my first 'networking event' at which I go dressed up with business cards in hand.

Have fun! (Things like that are one of the reasons I wanted out of the corporate world. Couldn't stand them.)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Good luck, Theo!

Happy birthday, SA!

I'm taking a semi mental health day. I don't feel great, but if there were anything pressing at work, I could have gone in for sure.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

sara - yikes.

Jesse - that sounds awesome. I am off next Thursday and hope to gain both sleep and calm.

thanks for the comments all - It's true that he is just working out his frustrations in this one way. It's typical of adoptees of any age to push boundaries much like a toddler, but as Theo says acting up also means he feels safe. Part is just him. mac is extremely willful - period. I know this may hard for some of you to grasp, but so was I as a child, so I get it.

What did I spy with my little eye when I walked out of my apartment this morning? Why, a dead body at the end of the road!

Yet another thing I won't be telling my parents. At least the universe tried to make up for it a little bit by sticking a J. August Richards-alike next to me on the bus.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Crap. I was gonna hide it in a better place, but then stuff came up....

Anyway, did it appear to be from natural causes?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

BSG, FNL, and Heroes got Best Directing nods.

"Dick in a Box" was nominated for Best Song, as were "Guy Love" and "Everything Comes Down To Poo" from the Scrubs musical.

shrift, I am freaking out silently and calmly over here.

Oh my shrift! That is not good.
