It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

OMG! Why won't it stop with the muggy and hot today.

It was nice out today! After sleeping way too much, I finished watching the Devil Wears Prada, I finally dropped off my dry cleaning, bought some books for Bob from the book guy (who dropped Aristotle's ethics into my bag because I obviously needed it), had a fancy pedicure, and bought some dresses from H&M. Now I'm waiting for Korean food and settling in to watch F is for Fake.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Feel better soon.

BTW, I still remember how the Secret Santa gift you sent me (which included a BIG block of chocolate) arrived on the Crappiest Day Ever and managed to turn the day around for me almost completely.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

It was pretty nice out, but for some reason it drained me doing the two bouts of errands I had and then my house just WILL NOT COOL OFF!

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

My air conditioners were too cold. I turned them off, and opened my windows.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

It's grey and foggy in San Francisco. No humidity whatsoever.

Aye caramba, my back is sore from writing in a cafe all afternoon.

The good news is that my book is actually starting to look like a book.

The bad news is that it's not finished and I still have a fair amount of writing and editing to do between now and Wednesday morning.

But it's doable.

It's hard to see the project as a whole. It's all been pieces and now I'm putting it all together. But I can vouch that there are a large number of indivdiual sentences that I like. That much I can say.

I think I'm going to miss seeing Emmett's all-star team in the District championship on Tuesday night, though. That sucks. Maybe I'll have it done by then.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

This is funny. I'm guessing that if you're really into video games, it's very funny. Microsoft vs. Hitler (YouTube video)

It's grey and foggy in San Francisco.

It is? Huh. Oh yeah, I can see that there's some north of here.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

I love the fog. But I spent much of the afternoon by Telegraph Hill so I got the best of both worlds.
