We're not gonna die. We can't die, Bendis. You know why? Because we are so very pretty. We are just too pretty for God to let us die.

I love the fog. But I spent much of the afternoon by Telegraph Hill so I got the best of both worlds.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Once when I lived in Noe Valley, the fog came up to just under our apartment. It looked like our apartment on its hill was on a little island. Other times the fog would be just above our apartment. Plus we'd usually see the fog rolling over Twin Peaks and that giant tripod television transmitter thingie.

Sometimes I miss San Francisco....

Sutro Tower.

ETA: It looms over my neighborhood and is my new benchmark for how foggy it is. Can I see the tower? How much of the tower?

Once I got up in the middle of the night and could only see the top of the tower. It took me a few seconds to make sense of what I was seeing.

So I thought I would make cherry clafoutis for brunch tomorrow. Any ideas for the best way to pit cherries without a cherry pitter?

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I saw this guy just this afternoon and didn't even recognize him at first, I was just staring at a vandyke in the wild.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

OMG, it's Hec and Daisy Jane.

I came across a recipe for a really tasty sounding vegan blueberry buckle today. [link] Might have to try that.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

OMG, it's Hec and Daisy Jane.

Heh. There are worse things than being compared to Billy Connelly.

But Daisy's way hotter than Pamela Stevenson.

Actually, both hotter and cooler.
