Angel: I appreciate you guys looking out for Connor all summer. It's just—he's confused. He needs time. That's all. Fred: Right. Time, and some corporal punishment with a large heavy mallet. Not that I'm bitter.

Lucky paperdol!

It's funny, I know the twins shouldn't look too much alike, or for that matter, different, but I'm still surprised that they do. Both ways. I see their relations, and I see their selves. Noah's got that whole punkass thing going, abetted by his hair. And then Grace...well, she's got well behaved hair when they ain't giving her crappy haircuts. But she's always looked rounder in the face, more serene even pissed off and this is with me testing my biases and looking funny at gender stuff. Even if I'm completely deluded now, I''m rather in love with their individuality. Well, and them.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

NC includes me, smonster, flea, calli, amyth, kiba, darth, bev. Some not seen often enough hereabouts, of course.

Also, we still claim Stephanie, whenever she wants to come back onshore.

My sister is out in LA this weekend with her fiance, looking for rental houses. Right now, they're looking in the Woodland Hills area, searching through the Craigslist entries as I'm talking to her.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Does anyone know anything about Winnetka, CA? Is that a nice town to live in?

Cass - Jul 13, 2007 8:24:32 pm PDT #8157 of 10001
Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

But the west coast is trying to poach Beverly, so I didn't count her in NC.

What?

If I say it, it might be true!

Winnetka is Valley just before the big hill thing, yeah? No, that's ... I fail. Someone else will have to take a stab at this one. I am busy trying to get Beverly into the PNW.

I'm looking at the Winnetka, CA wikipedia page, and I can't work out why I've never heard of it before.

Winnetka is bordered by Canoga Park on the west, Woodland Hills on the south, Chatsworth to the north, and Reseda to the east.

I've been to all those places. Just never Winnetka.

No point me answering valley-related questions. I'm unbearably biased against anywhere not West LA, much less not LA county.

I think my sister would love it if they could get back to the PNW--until about 18 months ago, they were both living in Tacoma, and she moved out to Las Vegas to join the fiance last September. But, he just got a job with the city (of LA), so they'll be moving at the end of the month. I didn't get a chance to ask her where he'll be working before she hung up--I'll see if I can get that info from her tomorrow. It sounded like they're pretty set to looking in that area of the Valley, so I'm guessing he'll be working nearby.

Just never Winnetka.
You've probably gone through it a lot. There are a few exits for it off of the 101.

I only remember the name because my mom grew up in Winnetka near Chicago. It stuck in my brain.
