(Note to Kat: If that's Noah's regular bathing sink, you're gonna wanna move that knife stand, at least during bath time.)
Cindy and I are sharing a brain! Of course my knives are all on a the top shelf of a cabinet at this point, along with my scissors, fire starting sticks and shish kabob skewers.
Those babies are just so gorgeous.

Bad brain! Bad brain!
I swear, somewhere along the line I absorbed Clive Barker's id.
I told you, MM, NO SEGUEWAY! I'm only halfway through my first cuppa.
re: hazardous bathplace: Their kitchen counter is pretty long, so those lovely stabby-man knives are well out of reach. But it sure looks wonderfully frightening in those photos.
And I'm actually surprised that the not-so-clear plastic blade covers on that knife stand aren't readily visible. I was bummed when I saw the covers when we first got that set, safety-be-damned. So, yeah, no exposed edges.
Teddy update. Nothing dramatic. He went through a rough patch early this week, and his creatinine went back up. He's since had another vitamin B-12 shot and an injection of an antibiotic (Bityadril or some similar name). Plus he's getting fluids every night again. Last night, he also started injections of Epogen, which should stimulate creation of baby red blood cells and treat the anemia.
In short, we're experimenting to see what the best course of treatment is. I'm beginning to suspect it's regular fluids, periodic injections of Bityadril supplemented with Zeniquin pills, and periodic injections of vitamin B-12.
He seems fairly perky these days. His appetite slipped for a couple days but has increased again.
loving the baby pictures! of course.

Even when Noah's on the little pad to the right of the sink? I'm sorry, the mother tag so doesn't close, and Noah already has his share.
(It's just that you never think they can do something until they do it.)
(And then they do it.)
(And on the good days, you catch them in the act.)
(Shutting up, now.)
I do love the knife stand. Too much.
(eta "his" to "share")
I just ordered one of those knife holders as a house warming gift for a friend. She's a psychologist so I suspect she's going to love it lots.
Happy Friday the 13th, Buffistas!!!
If Grace grows up to be the Bad Haircut Avenger, I wouldn't be surprised. And she's the one with the sedate, well-behaved hair! Not like Noah's punkster hair. So not fair. They're both adorable and I'm awful to have laughed at Noah's alarmed bathing expression.
I spent 15 minutes this morning pleading with the alarm clock to be wrong. Why I think arguing with an inanimate object would work, I don't know.
