I don't fancy spending the next month trying to get librarian out of the carpet.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

That CatCam is fabulous.

Mattias looks so aware and interested already. I'm always amazed at that.

Our wings are not tired.

Lovely pictures. I love the one with mom and son checking each other out. So sweet.

NBA: No clue about the sports whitefont custom. The last 2 games were filled with awesome and so completely different. Go LeBron! Go Boobie! I hate that every person around me here and on the tv is dismissing any possibility of the Cavs doing well in the Finals. They are going to show up to play. Also, I know the last foul call on Wallace was bogus, but I have no respect for his lack of control. Poopyhead. And for my favorite picture and headline on the game see the Boston Globe [link] Let's hear it for the boy!

edit because English tough

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Mattias is so cute and he already has the "WTF?" look.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Bleah. Still waking up several times during the night. Not a happy camper...

Art Crawl!!!

I managed to miss being soaked!

I ran a couple of errands - got home about 20 minutes ago - I was not home more than five minutes when the skies turned gray and it started POURING.

Which it still is.

What is even happening?

Kalshane, I love the photos and video of Mattias. Thanks for sharing them, here. He's a beautiful, beautiful baby. He looks like he's doing quite well, too. I hope his digestive tract starts cooperating and that you and GF can get him home, soon. Take it easy (sleep now, while you can!).

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Mattias seems very aware and present for a newborn. I love the picture of mom and baby gazing at each other, and the shot over her shoulder of Mattias's wee face just broke me in half and melted me into a little puddle on the floor. Perfect wee child, start eating.

Today is Art in the Park. I want to go but am doubtful how much fun it will be by myself. So tired of this husband working every available minute thing. Actually, it's the sort of thing I would go to with my mom, but she's gone off on vacation with my dad so I am left with no one to confide my art critiques to. Maybe I will try taking my iPod...

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Art is very much a Mom thing for me. I can go and enjoy an arty experience without Mom but it's never quite the same. Ooh I just remembered we're going to the Pageant of the Masters this month. Whoo!
