I managed to miss being soaked!
I ran a couple of errands - got home about 20 minutes ago - I was not home more than five minutes when the skies turned gray and it started POURING.
Which it still is.

Kalshane, I love the photos and video of Mattias. Thanks for sharing them, here. He's a beautiful, beautiful baby. He looks like he's doing quite well, too. I hope his digestive tract starts cooperating and that you and GF can get him home, soon. Take it easy (sleep now, while you can!).
Mattias seems very aware and present for a newborn. I love the picture of mom and baby gazing at each other, and the shot over her shoulder of Mattias's wee face just broke me in half and melted me into a little puddle on the floor. Perfect wee child, start eating.
Today is Art in the Park. I want to go but am doubtful how much fun it will be by myself. So tired of this husband working every available minute thing. Actually, it's the sort of thing I would go to with my mom, but she's gone off on vacation with my dad so I am left with no one to confide my art critiques to. Maybe I will try taking my iPod...
Art is very much a Mom thing for me. I can go and enjoy an arty experience without Mom but it's never quite the same. Ooh I just remembered we're going to the Pageant of the Masters this month. Whoo!
I think I may be successful in shifting it from "looking at art" to "finding my brother a birthday present" in my head, which will make it more acceptable as a solo expedition. Using headology on myself.
I think you and I are the only ones who care, Laura, so I'm going to stop whitefonting. Okay, everyone?

I totally know! No respect! But I love my Cavs and I hope people have lots of reasons in the future to start paying attention to them.
The only thing I regretted about the game was that there wasn't a game 7 for Wallace to be suspended from. Hee. Completely unsurprised he lost his cool.
Aww, that is a great picture! I love how James just told him, keep shooting, so he did. That's the way to do it!
I'm so glad they got it done at home, for those fans. Despite the craziness and the delay and the equipment and the voice of god booming out "Ten seconds...five seconds." Heh.
OK, has anyone else seen Ninja Warrior? It's a crazy Japanese obstacle-course competition show, and I can't believe I just watched an hour of it!
NBA: The shot clock not working was so embarrassing. I'm sure somebody is in trouble about that one. I'm very happy for the Cavs and hope they make a lot of stupid announcers eat their words. Of course if they are up against my Heat next year they lose my support. Hmmm, I wonder if LeBron or Boobie want to move to South Beach.
Yes! OMG! The Tivo taped it for us, thinking we'd like it, and we totally do! It's completely Japanese, like MXC without the pre-adolescent voiceovers. But with real athletes, and massive pressure, and crying!
I know, Laura. I told the SO, they're making an announcement, "Err, is there a geek in the house? A geek? We need a geek." We looked so completely unprofessional.
