Oh, smacked in the noggin with a 2x4 wrapped in velvet. Yeah, that's what it felt like.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Yeah, I'm not actually unclear on that bit.

So is it that he's convinced I'm going to run off with my Rock Star Crush, or is it that he's convinced that someone needs me around to find True Happiness? Either way, I think it's kinda cute.

I used to just care about the pretty of them. Now? Giddy happiness. It's sad. Or I am growing as a person.

Growing as a person. That's my vote. Plus them being complete and utter woobies.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Congrats, Kalshane!!!!

Lee Pace might be taller than Jared Padalecki.

According to IMDB, Lee Pace is 1" shorter than Jared P. But IMDB is not always accurate on heights.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Oh I love Lee Pace. But imdb says it's just a pilot. Is it picked up for sure?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

So is it that he's convinced I'm going to run off with my Rock Star Crush, or is it that he's convinced that someone needs me around to find True Happiness? Either way, I think it's kinda cute.
Oh, you are only going to pretend to run away with your Rock Star Crush, no matter how massively cute as he might be. And I suspect that you matchmaking is the One True Matchmaking.

But Pete's just happy cause he's got his gothy girl and really how is anyone else every going to be that happy? It's just happy off the scales. In a suit. With a serious look. Not at all adorable.

Growing as a person. That's my vote. Plus them being complete and utter woobies.
I am absolutely growing as a person. Also? Woobies. Sparkley pink woobies.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

But imdb says it's just a pilot.

I believe it's been announced as part of the fall lineup.

I've been playing with the comic strip thing. [link]
I'll figure out later how to put them on the flickr group.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

OK I joined the Flickr group. Is there an easier way to do this? Right now I'm pressing "Print Screen" and then opening up paint. I paste into paint and then cut out the commic and paste it back into paint and save it as a jpeg. Then I open Flickr and upload the image. After that I go to Organize Photos and drag the jpeg into the CoMMics group. There has to be a better way!

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Or I can just say, "here." and you can choose any coMMic you like from the dropdown menu

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I'm with Burrell, as I so often am -- the way they've stated their selling point leads one to believe that they're euthanizing all their culls. Not to mention with a whole lot of wild cat genes, the culls could be downright dangerous to people. Although with a baseline of 50 X $22K per year, they could have a mini-sanctuary where the culls run free, terrorizing the birds and squirrels and raccoons and badgers and smaller deer.

A friend of mine just adopted a Chinese Crested dog -- although it's not a naked dog. It turns out that the dog gene that produces hairlessness is a lethal recessive along the same lines as the Manx gene in cats, so that your basic breeding stock includes more hairy dogs than not. In fact, they're downright fluffy, and called Puffballs. I can testify that her cull is adorable and well-behaved....

What is even happening?

Congratulations, Kalshane and GF! Welcome to the world Mattias James -- you long, tall drink of water.

That's a long labor, Kalshane. Poor GF. Coddle her as much as she'll let you.

When I told Pete about the news (with the "Oh look, fandom go 'splody!" angle), he looked at me and said "But you're married to me. He can't have you." Which I think says something about how Pete's mind works, but I'm not sure what.

So is it that he's convinced I'm going to run off with my Rock Star Crush, or is it that he's convinced that someone needs me around to find True Happiness? Either way, I think it's kinda cute.

Jilli, you two are already our OTP and yet I'm sitting her melting into so much schmoop, very early on a Saturday morning.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Weird Science!

That's daycare science! We called it Oobleck. Good times.

I still don't understand why, on Saturday, I wake up before my alarm would have gone off on a weekday.
