Lee, we must schedule get-together time in July. Is July good for you?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Buncha flakes, I'll tell you what.

Hope we get the sweep tomorrow. Mac's first game.

Nuh uh. It's important that Mac learn baseball's most important lesson - disappointment.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Welcome to the club.

Do we have t-shirts, or at least a secret handshake?

Lee, we must schedule get-together time in July. Is July good for you?

Yes, we really should. I will be in Maine the first week, and Juliana and I have a concert at the very end, but other than that it is good.

I too am dubious about the feasibility of IQ tests at age 2. Really, nothing the child was doing except learning French (I assume none of her family speak it conversationally?) sounded all that amazing to me.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

HAPPY TEPPY DAY!!!!!!!

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

We did indeed miss Lee. And Betsy, and beth. But fun was had, and I was glad I got to buy JZ an early b-day present (that was VERY pretty). I was just sad I had to ditch to go to work. Work=lame.

Also, a belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Tep!

What is even happening?

Drawing the perfect circle was the only thing that sounded exceptional to me. Two year olds don't generally have the fine motor skills for that. French? I'd need to know more context. She sounds quite bright, but the person who was amazed about her knowing the difference between purple and pink doesn't.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I still can't draw a perfect circle!

I envy sara's productive day yesterday, as I lacked any productivity entirely.

I am so tired and rundown, so frayed at the edges, that doing anything beyond sleeping or reading is unlikely.

I still can't draw a perfect circle!

Neither can I! And I swear there's a purple that most of the rest of the world thinks is blue... and they're wrong.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Circle drawing champion.
