Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I'm so sorry, Fred Pete.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

I'm so sorry, Fred Pete.

Alaska, on a small boat, is really a cruise I want to take one day.

Just let me know if you want company! Or, if you want to start out with some great day cruises, come visit me. The Tracy Arm cruise is amazing, and I've heard that the Ford's Terror cruise, despite its inauspicious name, is even better. And I can get local rates! Just need some notice to clean house and, you know, breathe again.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

The Speed Racer theme song is now stuck in my head.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Wow, my mom just called to tell me that my future BIL got the job he was interviewing for with the city of Los Angeles, so he and Sis are moving out there next month!

So much for us spending time with them in Vegas the week before their wedding in October--Mom's going to spend tomorrow trying to move our flights from the Saturday before to Wednesday, since we won't be able to stay at their house in Vegas now.

Looks like I might be heading to LA to visit her in the future, and can meet with some LA-istas as well!!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Speed Racer! Vrrooooooom!

That's fun news.

Apparently this is from SciFi, so many of you may have seen it already, but it was too good not to share.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I know that religion is a 24/7 kind of thing, but for some reason, the Vatican issuing driving guidelines strikes me as weird.

Especially if it leads to summations like this:

It says that automobiles can be "an occasion of sin" - particularly when they are used for dangerous overtaking or for prostitution.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Oh, no. I jumped ahead and landed on a page with lots of hugs and consolation headed Fred's way. Dare I go back? Poor little guy.

(Teddy, I mean. I don't recall Fred being particularly wee. Anyhoo, hugs to you and Hubs and the furry ones.)
