Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Thanks, Teppy. I'm so zonked, I needed the reminder.

Hallmark has these cards that say something like "A daughter is a gift whose worth cannot be measured except by the heart."

I know they're a card to give to a daughter, but I liked the sentiment so much (plus am obnoxious) that I had to send it to mother mine.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

"A daughter is a gift whose worth cannot be measured except by the heart."

I dare you to write below that, "Measure me with your heart, dammit!!"

Recruiter just called me about a contract position. Located thirty miles away. With this city's traffic? That's an hour each way. No, thank you.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That's awesome.

I totally just got really confused because someone was telling me 475, and I had 525, and I couldn't figure out why her number was higher than mine.

I wish I were still on vacation.

475 is larger than 525, if the 75 is especially large....

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

SO TRUE.

brillig

Hubby and I both dreamed of our dead cat, Mouse, last night. I never dream about cats, and I very rarely dream about "people" I know. It's a little spooky. But Mouse is apparently very happy. I dreamed about him playing in a garden, and he came over to me when I called for a good visit and head scratch. Hubby dreamed about Mouse laying next to him and watching him, the way Mouse always did when they had quality time.

I suspect we're being haunted in a very pleasant way.

I've posted a link to a bunch of cool watches a while ago. I suddenly figured out how this watch's display works: [link] So awesome!

At first I thought the price was $100, but that seemed way low. Then I read the price correctly: 100k dollars. (That's $100,000. )

OK, won't be buying that anytime soon....

We really need to punch this week in the balls and run away to Tahiti.
