I guess you should come out here and introduce us, huh?

The original plan was for me to fly with them to the USA, so that I could be with the kids while they run all the errands of settling in a new foreign place. Then they had to change their schedule, there was a students strike, and they ended up going during the semester, when I can't leave. But I definitely plan to visit.

Stanford gets some very gifted students.

Hmm. Kids do catch the language faster than grownups, right?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

This was in the comments of the singles map.

In the city proper [Boston] there are 22,000 more women than men (4% of total 589,000) but here's the rough breakdown:

Under 20: no difference
20 to 40: 3,500 more females
40 to 60: 3,500 more females
Over 60: 15,000 more females

So, the new plan is for you to visit more of us than are just within Stanford range, right?

Man, if only Seattle had an NHL or AHL team. Or Las Vegas had a 30° drop in average daily temperature.

Well, each flight that reaches the JZ-Favorite-People coast from Israel has to go through the east coast, so stopping there to say hello to friends will be just the rational thing to do, right?

I have no idea when I'm going to go, though, now. The semester is ending so late because of the students strike, that the exams are going to be over around the holidays and the beginning of the next semester. We'll see. They're probably going to be there for two years, so I'll have lots of opportunities to arrange schedules enough to be able to go.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Over 60: 15,000 more females

Oh yeah, I forgot about the old ladies! In that case, it's interesting to me that that's not just true everywhere.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Much better pictures of the new Batmobile, seen on the Chicago street where the movie is currently filming: [link]

Link may be slowwwww right now....

What am I thinking - the vehicle linked to yesterday was a different bat-vehicle....
