Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That latimes batmobile link needs you to be registered to view. On a related note: Batsuit. Still, no nipples.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

On a related note: Batsuit.

Humina.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

God, that's hot.

And the thing! With the peripherals! And the no cables!

::swoon::

Wow. I can totally forgive Science and Technology for not bringing us the promised flying cars. I think I'm in geek heaven....

Oh, Microsoft has a huge R&D budget - nice to see something actually cool come from that....

A shorter version from the Huffington Post (has a picture too):

Can you get to the LA Times article from the above link?

Seth Green, mini dork. Oddly enough, the site where I found that link also had a link to the same Batsuit--which I didn't see until just after posting the LJ link here.

Oh - also, I had heard about that Microsoft table screen thing, but I didn't really grok what all the fuss was about until I saw the video....

Well, it sounds like it's mostly to be used for media (picture) manipulation. Otherwise, I'm sure you could use a bluetooth keyboard....

That's what I figured. I don't have audio here, so I have no idea of anything but the visuals, but it's more of a mouse/monitor replacement (plus addition of neato stuff!) than a keyboard replacement.

If you're going to make much more inroads into replacing paper, content manipulation is going to have to be more analogue than it is now.
