Reavers ain't men. Or they forgot how to be. Now they're just nothing. They got out to the edge of the galaxy, to that place of nothing, and that's what they became.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Seth Green, mini dork. Oddly enough, the site where I found that link also had a link to the same Batsuit--which I didn't see until just after posting the LJ link here.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Oh - also, I had heard about that Microsoft table screen thing, but I didn't really grok what all the fuss was about until I saw the video....

Well, it sounds like it's mostly to be used for media (picture) manipulation. Otherwise, I'm sure you could use a bluetooth keyboard....

That's what I figured. I don't have audio here, so I have no idea of anything but the visuals, but it's more of a mouse/monitor replacement (plus addition of neato stuff!) than a keyboard replacement.

If you're going to make much more inroads into replacing paper, content manipulation is going to have to be more analogue than it is now.

A whole bunch of awesome furniture: [link]

Really. Many of these deserve their own posts. Like the bedroom TV that automatically slides out from under your bed, unfolds itself and positions itself for you to watch.

OK, I've seen all the versions of Little Shop of Horror, and I know damned well that most of those sit-upons intend to eat someone. If not just stroll off somewhere.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Heh, yesterday I was stopped behind a low-slung Mercedes at a red light, when suddenly the top started to lift up and the back window slid into the trunk, all in about 30 seconds. Now, that's a convertible. I found myself not even resenting the guy who was driving it, because it was so. damn. cool.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.
