Swooping in to wish Cass a Happy Birthday (or rather, I hope she had one)!!
Went down to Dad's for the day. He ended up having a good day--all the kids/stepkids called, he got together with everyone who's in the area either today, yesterday, or tomorrow, we went to his favorite restaurant, and his favorite NASCAR driver won today's race.
He did give me some money to get a new mattress set, and he told me that if I haven't bought it by the next time he comes up to my place sometime in the next month, he's not giving another penny ever, so I guess I'd better use it for a new bed. I'd been meaning to pick one up with next year's tax refund, but like Dad said, I said that about this year's refund, which ended up going to bills instead. So, I'm going to test sleep mattresses this week and do some comparison shopping so I can get the best deal possible.
Any suggestions on good mattresses?
